The 2024 Automechanika Johannesburg, Africa’s premier auto aftermarket trade fair, opened its doors in November, gathering over 500 global exhibitors across equipment manufacturing, technical services, and parts supply. South Africa, with a vehicle fleet exceeding 12 million units and 5% annual growth, presents surging demand for advanced wheel repair and eco-friendly maintenance solutions. Gubot (gubot), a leading Chinese provider of integrated auto aftermarket equipment and systems, made its debut in South Africa, showcasing cutting-edge technologies to drive industry transformation.
Gubot’s CEO stated, “South Africa is a cornerstone of our globalization strategy. Within three years, we will launch a regional service center in Johannesburg for localized production and rapid response, while digitally connecting African workshops to advance industry standardization.”
This exhibition underscores Gubot’s transition from “Made in China” to “Created in China,” offering a replicable model for global auto aftermarket development through technology and service-driven collaboration.
